Navigating the J-1 Visa Process Made Simple with USA Intern Club

A cultural exchange program in the U.S. on a J-1 visa is a chance to live American life, get real work experience and make friends for life. We guide and support you at every stage, so you always know what comes next.
Understanding the J-1 visa. First, get to know the J-1 program: what it's for and who qualifies. We walk you through the program options and requirements so you know if you're eligible, and we explain the documents you'll need, like your passport, the Training Plan and the DS-2019 form.
Preparing your application. Once you know you're eligible, we help you gather every document you need. That includes help with the application forms and guidance on your video resume.
Having a J-1 visa sponsor. Every J-1 participant needs a designated sponsor organization. The sponsor oversees your exchange program in the U.S. and issues the background documents for your visa. USA Intern Club is the official partner agency in Hungary of a designated visa sponsor founded in 1980, so you're in experienced hands.
The application. We help you fill in the DS-160, the form every nonimmigrant visa applicant needs, step by step so nothing goes wrong. We also show you how to pay the visa fee and book your interview at the U.S. Embassy or Consulate near you. On top of that, you get a free interview prep session with tips and resources.
The visa interview. This is the big one. We explain how the interview works, how to present yourself and how to answer the questions well. We even practice with you, so you walk in feeling confident.
Arriving in the U.S.. Once you have your visa and land, we can help you settle in with orientation and local resources. You'll also have a personal local coordinator from your visa sponsor and 24/7 support during your stay.
Finishing your program and going home. As your program wraps up, we help you meet every program requirement and leave on time, before your authorized stay ends. That includes any paperwork you need to finish.
