Paid-Program Agreements

1. What this page is
This page explains how paid-program agreements work. It is a summary, not the agreement itself. Your signed agreements are what count, and you will receive them in writing before you pay anything.
2. Who you sign with
Every paid program involves two agreements:
- USA Intern Club. Veres Gyöngyi EV., trading as USA Intern Club, Szilassy út 12-14., 1121 Budapest, Hungary, tax number 66446248-1-43. This covers our services: matching you with an opening, preparing your documents, interview and visa guidance, housing guidance and support during your stay.
- Your visa sponsor. CIEE, CHI, AJ1 or Spirit Cultural Exchange, depending on your program. The sponsor issues your DS-2019 and sets its own program rules.
3. Fees and when you pay
Your exact program costs are listed in your agreement before you sign. Some programs ask for a deposit, depending on the program and sponsor. Most fees are paid only after your placement is secured.
We never ask for payment through this website. Checking your eligibility or sending an enquiry is free.
4. Cancellations and refunds
Cancellation and refund rules depend on the visa sponsor handling your program, and they are set out in your agreement. Before you sign, email us at info@usaintern.club and we will explain the exact rules for your program.
5. Your consumer rights
Where Hungarian Government Decree 45/2014 (II.26.) applies to a distance service contract, consumers generally have 14 days to withdraw, subject to the statutory conditions and exceptions. Nothing in our agreements removes your mandatory consumer rights.
